Booking
 

a) Open Events (Practice and Races)

• Full payment must be made at the time of booking to guarantee your space(s).

• It is your responsibility to ensure that all details are correct at the time of booking.

• All payments are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

• You must arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure we can register you before your session. No refund or transfer will be made for those who are late.

• In the event that your sessions cannot take place due to a reason beyond the control of Simply Race, you will be entitled to a credit to use at a later date.

• Your booking reserves only the number of spaces stated in your confirmation, whilst we may have spare capacity on the day we cannot guarantee this. Please contact us to confirm whether extra spaces are available.

b) Exclusive Events (Races and Junior Parties)

• A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking, this is non-refundable.

• If catering is being pre-booked, this must be paid in full at the time of booking to ensure we are able to stock accordingly.

• You can transfer your booking to a mutually convenient day (within the following three months) up to 10 days before the event.

• The full balance of your event is payable upon arrival

• Once booked, you cannot reduce the number of drivers but you may increase them if we have spare capacity.

c) Vouchers

• Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase

• No cash alternative is available

• Valid only for the event specified on the voucher

• Single use only and non-refundable

• Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer

• When booking, you must disclose the voucher number. As a space is now reserved, you cannot move your booking.

• Restrictions may apply when booking, places are offered on a first come, first served basis

d) Loyalty Cards

• No cash alternative is available

• Valid only for the event specified on the loyalty card

• Single use only

• Cannot be used inconjunction with any other offer

• When booking, you must disclose the name of the loyalty card holder and their e-mail address

• Upon arrival, the loyalty card must match the booking details and be surrendered to Simply Race staff

• Restrictions may apply when booking, places are offered on a first come, first served basis

• Simply Race reserve the right to withdraw this promotion at any time

e) Online Bookings

• By using our online booking system, you agree for us to use your e-mail address for direct marketing

• You can opt out of this at any time by clicking 'unsubcribe' at the bottom of our emails or by writing to info@simplyrace.co.uk with 'unsubscribe' in the title

f) Refund/ Cancelation Policy

• All bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable

• This applies in all circumstances except when Simply Race cannot accomondate your booking for reasons within its control

• In cases that a booking cannot be delivered upon due to circumstances out of its control, Simply Race will arrange for the event to be rescheduled for a mutually convenient time.

Restrictions on use

 

a) Age

• The minimum age for use of the simulators is 7 years old.

• To compete in our Sunday Morning Race Club, the maximum age is 16.

• To participate in our Friday Night Unlimited session, you must be at least 18 years old

• All drivers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times

• Under 16s are not permitted in the venue after 9pm, unless escorted by a responsible adult

b) Size

• The minimum height to use a simulator is 125cm (4 foot 1 inches), however this may vary from person to person

• Whilst we are able to adjust the height of our simulators, we strongly suggest that any driver that is within the following criteria requests a private seat fitting to ensure your suitability:

• Drivers below 125cm (4 foot 1 inches)

• Drivers above 198cm (6 foot 6 inches)

• Drivers above 114kg or 18 stone

 

c) Medical Conditions

• Whilst our simulators are non-motion, they do provide the option of tactile feedback by default (although this can be turned off). It is the responsibility of the participant to inform Simply Race of any existing medical conditions so we can advise you on whether it is safe for you to race.

• The list of conditions you must advise us on includes (but is not limited to) heart conditions, back conditions and epilepsy.

• Unfortunately you may not participate whilst pregnant.

Behaviour and Attitude

 

a) Threatening behaviour

Anti-social or aggressive behaviour towards anyone (staff or other visitors) whilst at the venue will not be tolerated. Simply Race reserves the right to refuse access to our facilities and remove anyone for our venue.

b) Language

Whilst we appreciate that simulator racing is adrenalin inducing. We request that all drivers do not use inappropriate, or controversial language whilst on site and whilst driving.  Following a warning, Simply Race reserves the right to remove individuals from the simulators and the venue for repeat abuse.

c) Treatment of Equipment

The use of simulators is provided subject to them being treated in a respectable fashion. If you are found to have been willfully or deliberately damaging equipment we will ask you pay for repairs. Additionally, if the damage causes the business to loses custom we may seek additional compensation.

Liability

• Drivers participate at their own risk.

• Simply Race accepts no responsibility for any injuries, accidents or illnesses caused at the venue for drivers, spectators or visitors.

• Simply Race accepts no responsibility for the possessions of drivers, spectators and visitors. We advise that individuals do not bring valuable possessions into the venue, and if they must they should be on their person at all times. However, Simply Race accepts no liability for damage of items caused by the use of simulators.

 

Provision of Catering and Bar Facilities

• Only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed the venue.

• Catering is subject to availability

• If you wish to provide your own catering, you may be required to pay a cover charge of £5 per person

• Simply Race may restrict the provision of alcohol if deemed appropriate or in the interests of other guests.
